When installing a standalone ECU in a 2002-2006 Honda/Acura vehicle, you may
encounter issues with the gauge cluster and air conditioning not functioning properly.
This is because, in these cars, the ECU and certain control units communicate via the
Multiplexer Bus (also known as the SEFMJ line), a communication method that most
standalone ECUs do not support.

Our Module is designed to solve this problem. It enables communication over the
Multiplexer Bus, allowing the gauge cluster to function correctly again (specifically,
restoring the water temperature gauge and battery charge light) and ensuring that
the ECU recognizes the air conditioning (A/C) request.

Installation is simple, requiring the connection of just six wires. The module is
compatible with most standalone ECU systems. It connects to the ECT and ALTL
signals from the engine harness. The A/C request command is converted into a
digital signal by pulling the line to ground (low-side). The other three wires
connect to the power supply and the SEFMJ line (the Multiplexer communication
line).

A slight adjustment to the standalone ECU configuration is required.
Specifically, the voltage-to-temperature table needs to be updated, along with the
input for the A/C request switch.

If you install a 2002-2006 Honda/Acura gauge cluster in another vehicle, you will
encounter the same problem: the water temperature gauge and battery charge light
will not function. In this case, you can also use our MUX Integrator Module to convert
the necessary signals and restore the functionality of these instruments.Known
